Engaging audiences by mixing character work, storytelling and classic stand up techniques, Lisa Laureta has performed their original written stand up, group and solo sketch at venues around the country including Comedy Central Stage, UCB LA, The Nerdist Showroom at Meltdown Comics, The Laugh Factory, The Hollywood Improv, The Second City, iO Chicago, iO West, Zanies, Chicago Underground Comedy, The Annoyance and The Lincoln Lodge.

 

Lisa was filmed for a new E! show, their stand up has been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Network's "My Life is a Joke,” a television show which they were a main cast member of. Their improv skills have been featured on VH1, and other material and performances have been featured on Funny or Die, Vimeo and of course, Youtube. 

 

Lisa has also had the privilege of performing in the Last Comic Standing Audition Showcase at the Hollywood Improv, The 1st Annual Funny Women Festival, The Boston Women in Comedy Festival, the Chicago Women's Funny Festival, Grand Rapids' Laughfest, and the Del Close Marathon in New York. They've also classically trained in drama and had the honor of performing in an award-winning dramatic play at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
